Stephan Moritz is a composer, music producer and supervisor, and the General Manager of MOKOH Music Berlin.
He was born and still lives in Berlin Germany.
At the age of five, he started his musical training and played in several bands. After working for 14 years at Germany's leading audio production company, Studio Funk, where he was managing the Berlin department, he founded MOKOH Music in 2010. MOKOH Music is a full service music agency for all kinds of music usage in film and advertising.
At the age of 27, he became a member of the German Art Directors Club and in 2015 was appointed as a member of the German Advertising-Movie Academy.
MOKOH Music was nominated Europe’s Regional Radio and Audio Company of the Year in 2019 by LIA and was the number one music and sound company in Germany in 2020 according to LBB.
During his career, he won more than 250 national and international awards, including a Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions, various awards at LIA, D&AD, One Show, Clios, Eurobest, New York Festival, ADC and Cannes Lions. In 2020 he provided the music direction and supervision to the year’s most awarded “Moldy Whopper” campaign for Burger King, winning numerous awards including a Black Pencil at the D&AD, Best of Show at the One Show, an Immortal Award, and a Grand Prix at The Eurobest.
Stephan Moritz’s creative output and music knowledge has been greatly appreciated in the advertising community, therefore being invited to judge at LIA, D&AD, The Cannes Lions, The One Show, The New York Festival and The Art Directors Club of Europe and Germany besides other festivals.
