Known as a “planning head with a creative heart”, Shehan holds the position of Director & Chief Strategy Officer at Triad, Colombo. In his role as CSO, Shehan has spearhead business growth for both the agency and clients with a pitch win rate of over 80% while launching/reviving and pivoting brands and business across multiple industries. 
 

In just two years as CSO, Shehan has helped transform the agency into one of the most awarded in Sri Lanka with over 50 international awards hailing from Spikes Asia, D&AD, ADFEST, Cresta Awards, WARC Asian Strategy and so on while also representing Sri Lanka on numerous international juries including Agency of the Year Global Awards, APAC Effie Awards, Effie Awards Sri Lanka and South Africa, Cresta Awards, New York Festivals, AD Stars and more.
 

Contributing to several industry milestones, Shehan became the 1st to be named “South Asia Strategic Brand Planner of the Year in 2021 and 2020” the first to be named “Global Strategic Planning Leader of the Year 2021 – Finalist” and contributed to Triad being named Sri Lanka’s 1st independent agency to be awarded “South Asia Independent Agency of the Year” in 2021 at Campaign’s Agency of the Year Awards.
