Tonie is an award-winning Creative Director renowned for her impactful work in advertising and digital communication. Her career took off after earning a Master's degree in Multimedia, starting as a conceptual UI/UX designer with digital agencies in Beirut. She then made a significant move to Leo Burnett, venturing into the advertising world through its digital division. Working in their Beirut and Dubai offices, she earned notable recognition, including her first Cannes Lion Gold.
Her journey continued at Wunderman Thompson for seven years, where she notably worked on STC, the region's largest telecom company, contributing to a significant brand transformation. Seeking to engage more with local projects, Tonie joined the Bold group, a Saudi-based agency. There, she built and led a team of 13 creative professionals, launching brands, winning new clients, and creating impactful work.
Tonie's journey has come full circle with her return to Leo Burnett, now in their Riyadh office. In this role, she leads the creative team with a focus on developing creative and efficient solutions for clients. Renowned for her artistic talent, strategic mindset, and fresh perspective, her work has been recognized 41 times in international award shows, including a prestigious gold at the Cannes Lions.
Throughout her career, Tonie has worked with a diverse array of brands. Her experience spans across sectors, working with telecom giants like STC, Zain, and Du, and major P&G brands such as Wella, Always, Downy, and Tide. Additionally, she has worked with several banks, including SAB and ANB, as well as global companies like Samsung, Nescafe, Lays, and Mercedes, showcasing her versatility and creative prowess in various industries.
