Steve is a Japanese-German descendant, born in Brazil and Portuguese citizen. He joined Leo Burnett Lisbon in 2009, and since 2017, he leads all creative agencies for the Publicis Groupe in Portugal. 

Throughout his career, Steve has built a vast experience across many sectors, such as Automobiles, Mobility, Energy, Culture, Retail, FMCG, Fast Food, Finance, Telecommunications and others.
 

During his time at the company, Steve has had the privilege of working with highly talented people. Together they managed to win important awards such as LIA, Cannes Lions, Effies, D&AD, One Show, Nyf, Eurobest, ADCE, El Ojo, FIAP, Creative Club of Portugal and others. Along the last decade, Steve has been nominated several times for Best Copywriter and Best Creative Director of the country, by the Portuguese Creative Club’s National Ranking.
 

Steve got his bachelor’s degree in Communications (UFPR-Brazil), with a double major in Advertising and Journalism.
