Chris Garbutt leads Virtue Worldwide – the creative agency powered by VICE Media Group – on its mission to help global brands find a valued place in culture. Under his leadership Virtue has created industry defining work for the likes of Coca-Cola, Logitech and Johnnie Walker and produced the hugely acclaimed Backup Ukraine project in partnership with Polycam and UNESCO.
Prior to his role at Virtue, Chris co-founded marketing consultancy, PLTFRMR which was acquired by VICE Media Group in 2021. Before that, he was Global Chief Creative Officer of TBWA where his work and leadership won numerous awards including several Cannes Grand Prix’s, Clios, the D&AD “Agency of the Year” award and Fast Company’s “World’s Most Innovative Companies".
Chris has just been included in the top 100 most-awarded Chief Creative Officers in the industry by The Drum’s World Creative Rankings 2023. His continued success saw him hold a jury president position at Cannes Lions 2022, as well as LIA President of Digital and Use of Social Media & Influencers Jury 2023.
