Josefina Casellas leads R/GA’s creative work for the Spanish-speaking market in Latin America. Responsible for overseeing a team of more than 70 professionals from different disciplines, such as Technology, Visual Design, UX and Production, she also supervises the creative collaboration and craft for global clients such as Nike, Google, Samsung US and Global, Slack, ESPN, Ally, among others.
 
With more than 20 years of experience, Josefina joined R/GA in 2018 as Creative Director, to later assume as Group Creative Director. In 2022 she stepped up as ECD for the Spanish-speaking LATAM region, to be promoted as VP ECD one year later. 
 
Throughout her career she has been part of many different types of projects, which allowed her to adopt a holistic vision on how to approach brands as operating systems.
 
As a Graphic Designer, she began her career at Ogilvy, working for clients such as Santander Río and Motorola. She was also part of La Comunidad and later joined BBDO, where she was named Creative Director, created from scratch the digital department and worked for brands such as Nike, Pepsico, Aerolíneas Argentina, and more.
 
Josefina has been President of a Jury both at regional and local award shows such as El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Diente, +Digital, Desachate (Uruguay) and IAB Uruguay, and a juror at Cannes Lions, Clio, ANDY Awards, ADC, El Sol, Gerety Awards, Lisbon International Advertising Festival. She has been part of the team responsible for Patagonia Brewery and Nike campaigns that have been recognized at award shows such as Clio, Effie, ANDY, WEBBY, and more.
