Katrina is a creative leader who’s out to change minds through work that people want to share.
She’s been described as “tenacious” by her previous creative chairman, because of her ability to find opportunities in the toughest briefs.
As a Filipina, her default setting is to care - about details, people and underrepresented points of view.
These values have helped her navigate a 19 year journey from Manila to Milan, Parma, Bangkok, London and Amsterdam, resulting in work that has highlighted gender bias at an early age, championed the goodness of dirt, democratised what it means to be an athlete, and celebrated the comfort of granny pants.
She has won over 70 international and national awards, including gold Cannes Lions, a graphite D&AD pencil, a gold Clio, gold Euro and UK Effies, gold WARC, gold Spikes, and Grand Prix in Adstars and Adfest. Her work has also helped her London office become Effie Agency of the Year, and her Bangkok office become the most award-winning agency in the country.
She loves a discussion about creative work, and has participated in juries for D&AD, One Show, Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Cresta, Creative Circle, ADCN, and Shots, some of which she has led as Jury President.
