José Miguel is a Chilean creative director currently working at BBDO Mexico with more than 10 years of experience in advertising. He got his bachelor’s degree in advertising with a master's degree in commercial and strategic creativity at Campus Creativo UNAB.
He has previously worked as art director at TBWA Beijing, BBDO Moscow, Y&R Chile, TBWA Chile and BBDO Chile.
Throughout his advertising career, José Miguel has worked for clients such as Cerveza Modelo, Stella Artois, Pepsi Black, EA Sports, Johnnie Walker, Aspirin, BMW, League of Legends, Snickers, Hyundai, Pepsi, Nissan and many others.
His work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, FIAP, EFFIE, The One Show, Círculo Creativo, ACHAP, IAB and Lürzer 's Archive.
In addition, José Miguel has been a Young Lions Mexico winner in 2021 and he also has a Silver (2019) and Bronze (2018) at Young Lions Chile.
As creative director at BBDO Mexico he was part of the team behind “the most talked about campaign in Mexico history” for Aspirin and Stella Artois.
